The Peredovik sunflower is a widely adapted, medium statured sunflower that boasts beautiful large yellow flowers and shiny black seeds with high oil content. Commonly used as a black oil sunflower seed for bird seed mixes, the Peredovik sunflower is a great variety for attracting deer, doves, quail, pheasants, turkeys and songbirds. Peredovik sunflower seeds are also attractive to deer and a number of ground foraging animals.
Peredovik sunflowers reach an average height of 4 to 6 feet and are of a medium maturity approximately 80 to 100 days making them an excellent choice for gardens and food plots.
