Covert Plots is a special seed mix designed for creating effective screens. These screens can be used to enclose a food plot or create distinct hunting areas between multiple food plots. The mix is ideal for concealing ground blinds or carry out stalk hunting.
Egyptian Wheat is a tall growing (10 ft.) member of the sorghum family that is well adapted to the Southeast. Egyptian Wheat bears loose seed heads containing an abundance of seed used for cover crops, wildlife and soil building.
Sorghum/Sudan is the highest producer of biomass of the summer cover crops. This warm season annual can produce lots of forage in a short amount of time during the summer months. Heat, moisture and fertility will make them very productive. When moisture is short they will wait for the rain.
Sunn hemp is known for its nitrogen-fixing abilities, making it an excellent choice for enriching soil fertility. It also suppresses nematodes, thrives in hot climates, tolerates drought conditions, and has the unique ability to extract nutrients from deep within the subsoil.
Forage sorghum is a warm-season annual grass closely related to grain sorghum but bred for its impressive overall biomass and dry matter yield. SorMax 85 BMR Forage Sorghum can reach heights of over 10 feet at full maturity. SorMax 85 BMR forage sorghum does not regrow well following cutting and is commonly used as a single harvest silage crop. It will display better drought and heat tolerance than corn and can outperform corn in terms of dry matter yield in a limited moisture environment.
